His career spans senior technical and operational roles across Asia, Europe, Africa, and the Americas.
That experience includes factory development and redesign, grower-base improvement programmes, retailer-facing export development, international technical advisory work, and supply-chain analysis across fresh produce, frozen products, and prepared food categories. John has worked directly within and alongside production operations, packhouses, export businesses, and international trading structures across multiple markets and regulatory environments.
He is a co-author of published research on PFAS contamination pathways in global food systems, reflecting a sustained engagement with food safety science alongside direct commercial and operational work. His approach integrates technical rigour with practical trading and supply-chain realities — an approach that forms the foundation of the John Crop Development group's wider market positioning.
